Don't want divorce but my husband does

(Querist) 07 July 2016 This query is : Resolved
I have married in feb 2015 after 7 years affair with my husband . but now my husband filed a divorce case without discuss anything with me. He alleged me for having affair with my colleague which is not true. He also said in his case that we(me n my husband)didn't involve any physical activity which is also not true. When our marriage happened I was studying in kerala and now doing a private job in jaipur. My husband is a mbbs doctor and me an ayurveda doctor. I don't want divorce in fact I was so tortured with my husband's and his family behaviour but I love him and don't want to leave him. He and his family is not ready for taking me with them and asked for divorce. I had 7 years long and happy relationship with my husband. But I don't know why he is doing this to me . What should I do if I don't want divorce.

In his case file, he also made my colleague second party . due to my husband my colleague is also suffering.
I don't know when I don't have any affair then how my husband could prove this or just putting an allegation on me was sufficient for taking divorce.

Ur welcome.

Since he has already filed the case there is no other option for you than to contest the same.
If you are innocent then there is nothing to worry and his case is going to be disproved.
So contest the case vigorously.
You can nevertheless file counter cases agaisnt him.

Sir I have one more doubt ...before joining in jaipur I worked in udaipur for 10 days. There also my colleague worked. Now the md (woman)of that college is in support with my husband due to her personal problem cos I left her job. My husband is presenting her as a witness even she don't have any evidence of my so called affair. Is it possible that anybody can come and say I am having affair and then what will be the reaction of court.

Your lawyer would dig the truth from the witness and your husband during cross. Have some senior lawyer.

No other alternate but to file counter cases against him.

At the time of reconciliation in court, you reject his allegations n refuse for divorcmare. Mare suspicions will not help him to get the Divorse. Appoint local lawyer to fefend

Yes, meet the case on merits and if need be and if so advised, lead evidence to prove your innocence.
