Inform the society in writing regarding the loss of share certificate. Lodge a police complaint (may be NCR). Publish in 2 newspapers (one English and other local language)and submit an application supported the joint affidavit of share-holders with police report and newspapers for consideration by managing committee of the society.
After their satisfaction MC will pass a resolution, issue duplicate share certificate and endorse the same in Share Certificate as well as Share Certificate/ Members Register.

Well advised by Dr. JC Vashista
In your case Indemnity Bond, that you did not obtain any Loan etc, mortgaging Flat doc c Share Certificate , is necessary.
May have to publish in 2 local news paper, if Society insist, otherwise it is not compulsory, as both h-w sign declaration c Police FIR for Loss.
