Dear Sir
I have certain queries, enumerated below:
1. Has the e-waste act/rule come into force?
2. My company generates small quantities of e-waste. Are we falling under its purview?
3.Can we store the e-waste for few years, amassing enough for disposing with some authorized dealer.Are there any litigation involved

1. It is already Gazette Notified. Your company falls under its preview.
2. The e-waste (Management and Handling) Rules, 2010 come into force with effect from 01.05.2012. These Rules shall apply to every every producer(s), distributer(s), collection centre(s), refurbisher(s), dismantler(s), recycler(s), consumer(s) or bulk consumer(s) involved in the manufacture, sale, purchase and processing of electrical and electronic equipment or components as specified in Schedule-I
