Good morning sirs, did the Cr.P.C. amendment bill 2010 came into force in respect of bail by police i.e. Sec.41 Cr.P.C. If so from which date and copy of the gazette publication may be given.

No, it has come into effect w.e.f notification dated 30.1o.2010

According to me a gazette notification is publishied on 30-10-2010 which is as follows:
MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th October, 2010

S.O. 2687 (E):- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Act, 2008 (5 0f 2009), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of November, 2010 as the date on which the provisions of Sec.5, Section 6 and clause (b) of Section 21 of the Said Act, shall come into force. Sd/-
Now what is the procedure for bails and advocates future. Please comment.
