deepak kumar (Expert) 17 June 2011
the first information report is not meant to be an elaborate statement. He can modify it in his statement u/s 161 but the accused can derive benefit if the modification is substantial.
Ravikant Soni (Expert) 17 June 2011
It is a first information report.
Make an application to the police abt that mistake like manner as specified in cpc to amend pleadings and seek to put it on record, it would be treated as second information.
