Eligibility for upsc civil services exam after quashed case

(Querist) 05 September 2016 This query is : Resolved
Hello

I was falsely charged in a cross fir with section 323/341. Earlier I had filed an fir against them u/s 308/334. Now both parties have agreed to get fir's quashed from high court. Will I be eligible for civil services such as IPS, IAS etc after quashing?
Thank You

Your question is premature. Agreement between two parties does not mean FIR is quashed.

First get the FIR quashed, then ask.

Thanks for the reply.
What I want to know is will I be eligible after quashing or not? If not I can go to trial and get an honourable acquittal.

Refer to the eligibility criteria of UPSC jobs.
Qaushing of a case should not hinder the eligibility of a candidate.

No reply against the repeated query.

Why to repeat?
Rakesh (Querist) 20 September 2016
I did not intend to repeat the query, earlier I had asked regarding govt jobs as a whole, but after doing a bit of research I realised that different govt. jobs have different rules regarding this so I just wanted to know the rule for a specific exam ie upsc cse. Although, As pointed by Mr Goyal I should have asked in the same thread. I will take care of this in future. Thanks for the replies experts!!
