Employee Termination

(Querist) 29 June 2011 This query is : Resolved
Hi All, Please suggest that on what grounds can a company may terminate its employee.
Further, can the grounds like insubordination & not willing to work be valid for termination?
In addition to this please also suggest how much it is valid for the company to persuade an employee forcefully to resign on the grounds of insubordination. Can a legal suit be filed in the court of law in case a person is forced to resign from the company. The manager is not willing to give anything related to this in writing. Please suggest. Thanks

See the joining letter offered by the Company. Go through the terms and conditions first and if there is any injustice, employee can opt to go to the Labour court.

See the terms and condition for the termination in the appointment letter. If it comes out that the termination is illegal you can challenge it in the civil court.
