Encumbrance certificate

Good afternoon sir/ madam
Spelling mistake in the initial of name in encumbrance certificate will cause any issue while spelling...except this all the documents were correct...i applied for encumbrance certificate by submitting all the detials correctly...but they typed intial wrong they typed G.V instead of C.V.....

Write to the O/O Authority that has issued in precise and concise manner like you have posted the query and ask to correct the error.

meet the Sub Registrar concerned and request him to rectify the error in EC. if he refuses then apply to the District Registrar using RTI. it will be definitely rectified.

Is it required to rectify spelling mistake, which is otherwise a "noun"?
If so, get a rectification deed registered.
