For job you need not be a registered practitioner. As regards reference, no one would like to take risk.

It is unfortunate that you have landed at Mumbai at such a pitiable juncture when everyone there appears to be under the fear pscho created by local goons like the MNS against the outsiders, especially the North Indians. Under such a deplorable state of affairs, it is but natural that you will be finding it extremely difficult to get any senior Lawyers who have the courage and guts to help you againist the dictates of the local petty politicians who do not care for the National Unity and Integrity. Let us only hope that things would change and good sense would prevail in the near future when it would be possible for you to find some senior Lawyers !
If there is any senior Lawyer friends from Mumbai who would be prepared to help the author, let us await for their response too.
With best wishes,
