Epf transfer

Dear sir,
previously i have worked in NHPC Ltd.(Public sector undertaking)since 2004 to June2011.I resigned the corporation and joined IRCON INTERNATIONAL LIMITED(Public Sector Undertaking)in july this year. I want to transfer my EPF money to the present employer, what legal procedure should i adopt.

very simple get the EPF number in previous company then give the new company and formal letter also thats all.

There is a form, which the new company would ask you to fill. In the same you can ask for transfer from previous EPF account.

A ready made form is available with EPF Office which you can get, duly fill it up and after obtaining the signature of the management submit to the EPF office. There ends the matter.

You may get transfer of EPF from former employer to the new employer, provided you have not already withdrawn your and employer's contribution of PF.

Dear Queriest, Please fill form 13 for transfer of your EPF fund from old employer Code to new employer code.
