I have availed a house building loan from SBI Guwahati whereas my flat is located at Kolkata (West Bengal). Can Equitable Mortgage can be created by SBI/me at Kolkata even if I have availed loan from Guwahati(Assam, India).

There is nothing in Law which either allows or disallows your proposal.

Therefore, First Check up with the Bank concerned, whether the Bank is comfortable with your proposal?
