Dear sir,
one of my relative is arrested under sect 67 of I T ACT 2000 ( at present he is out after bail).
I need clarification on what are the evidence required by cyber police in court during trail.
1. cyber police collected IP address.. what is meaning of IP address.
2.cyber police do not have computer system ( hard disk)., which is outside india.
3.they cannot collect harddisk from cyber centre outside india.
4.with out harddisk., is must ? in court

IP means Internet Protocol and if the same is proved prima facie then the Police here may issue red corner notice to said accused person on the basis of the FIR registered against his name.

Dear abhisek & other guys.,
FIR is regading Publishing of information which is obscene in electronic form.
Police arrested my relative and at present he is out by bail.
my query is :
1. police do not have computer system with them., whether case will stand in court.
2.if IP address is matched by cyber police.physical computer is required or not.
3.can police ask my relative to go back to country and bring back the computer system/harddisk/copy of it in cd.

as you told cyber police issued red corner notice and arrested him., when he come back to india.( due to high influnce of accused with cyber police)
but they do not have computer system with them----
can case will stand in court.
---can cyber police force my relative to bring back the system.
whether matching of IP ADDRESS only is enough.
