update: this is the order by the court:
This Misc. (J) Case has arisen out of petition no. 6194/23 filed by the petitioner under Order XXXIX, Rule 10 of CPC, read with Section 151 of CPC . Petitioner is represented. In view of the order assed in the main suit, this Misc (J) Case is also proceeded exparte against the O.Ps. Fixing 29.02.24 for hearing.

Do I have to proceed with the list of witnesses, or can I file the evidence by affidavit? Please support your reply with provisions of law.

You can proceed with with an affidavit supported by the documentary evidences you rely upon and let in exparte evidence through this affidavit.
If you feel like strengthening your case, you can rope in additional witnesses from your side.
