(Querist) 28 January 2013 This query is : Resolved
False DV case.

Is formal permission of the court required to examine documents submitted to the Court by the complainant?

Can references to the contents of these documents be made in a written statement?
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 28 January 2013
The court file can be seen only after obtaining the formal permission of the court which also includes the specific documents submitted by either of the contesting parties.

An inspection application is required for inspecting any file or court records. And yes!
references to the contents of those documents could be made in written statement.

Yes for inspection formal permission is required. You can't make reference of these document without appearing in court, before filing the WS.

Just appear in court, file wakalatnam and seek adjournment with a request that copies of the documents annexed with complaint be provided to you. Then prepare your WS.
