Hello,
I wish to know the process of execution of non-bailable warrants. This case is regarding one of my Office Colleague
She has a court case ongoing in Amritsar againts her in-laws who reside in Mumbai. Since the beginning of the case, the have ignored all the summons & have not appeared in the court. Now court have issued non-bailable warrants against them.
The Lawyer has said expenses will be about 1 Lakh for the travel, boarding/lodging & other overhead expenses to come to Mumbai & arrest & to present them in Amtrisar Court
I have query that does the expense has to paid by her or what is the normal procedure

ask the lawyer to please give a break up of the expenses . if NBW is issued it is sent to local police station jurisdiction wherein accused in residing for execution .
