Mr Raju

First appoint an advocate who has to peruse all the documents with you regarding the loan and also the claim of the bank. Once he goes through only then he can advise and respond to the bank properly. The bank's advocate cannot call you directly to the court without asking for an explanation on your part. So don't be apprehensive and cooly tackle the matter.

if the notice is from the advocate he cannot ask yo to give explanation in the Court. You are only responsible only to the extent if you have inherited any assets from your father. The max recoverable amt will be upto the value of asset.

I think it is already answered.
If it is a notice from an advocate then you have to reply for that. It it is court summons then you will have to appear before the court personally or thru., an advocate. You say your advocate about your defense he will do the rest of things.

You seek details from the Bank's Advocate thereafter decide next course of action.

first contact your local counsel along with said notice, who is the best person to advise you. In case, it is court summon, it better to appear and ascertain the facts from court file and thereafter defend yourself.

Agree with Experts.
