A Group Housing Society registered for a specific purpose to provide houses to a particular class of people makes a prospectus of a scheme and advertises it on the website to draw attention of the investors to invest.
Later, it is revealed that Society had made blatantly wrong promises in a particular housing project.
If the Housing Society is a Company within the meaning of Companies Act, then what additional provisions are there in the Company Law which can convict the Society Officials as per the Offenses listed in the Company Law in addition to the provisions of IPC under section 420?
