What if Police doesnot register complaint

Please let me know what can be done if the Police refuses to lodge a complaint. What can be done?

Send a copy of the complaint to the SP or DCP as the case may be making a grievance that the police stn is not taking it. Also you can file a private complaint in court and make a request to send the complaint to police u/s 156[3] of Cr.PC

I am agree with Mr.Palnitkar. Another remedy is there if you don't want the police to take any action for said occurance/incident. File a petition U/s-39 of Cr.P.C. before the nearest Magistrate.

Normally courts are reluctant to entertain direct complaints hence Palnitkar has suggested proper procedure.
