Sale deed

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 03 September 2011 This query is : Resolved 
We as HUF co-parceners had purchased a property few months back where 2 out 4 partners are not very keen in the property and want to give up their rights.can we delete the names of the 2 partners from the sale deed by performing a correction deed and get it registered without paying stamp duty.

No, they will have to transfer their share buy way of sale or gift deed. Alternatively they can execute deed of relinquishment by paying usual stamp duty.
