once elections are called any member can stand for elections. merely because candidate has been proposed and seconded by other members is no bar for the proposer standing for elections if he has been proposed and seconded by other members

Cooperative law in a democratic set up does not bar any eligible member of the society from seeking election of office bearer of the society. The proposal & seconding of a candidate and offering himself as a candidate for fighting election are two distinct processes and do not pose any conflicting effect on the rights of a member of the society.
So, you can go ahead with the process without any slightest doubt.
