E - agreements

Hi, I am creating a website where i would have local retailers to sell their products through my website. I wanted to know about the legality of E-agreements? Also, would that be sufficient if i have the retailers accept the agreement online or do i need to have a physical agreement signed by the retailers....

Example: - EBAY does not have a physical agreement with people selling through its website. It is all an acceptance of agreement by clicking a checkbox.

Yes i will anyway engage a legal professional, plus i myself am a chartered accountant. I wanted to have a bit knowledge before going to a professional for the same.....
