I am working in a state transport undertaking. Some law graduates who had spent majority of their service in our legal department and got promoted to higher level based on their legal qualification, are now appearing against the management (in which they are getting pension) either after retirement or voluntary retirement. Whether any rule or act, bar this kind of activity?

There is no such bar in proffesional ethics and Advocate code of conduct Act. They are free to practise after retirement.

The bar ceases to operate after they are no longer in the employment.
