if a person resigns from a particular govt. deptt. does he have any legal right to get back his job within a particular time frame?

No legal right. He/she will have to forget that post after the resignation is accepted.

no, he has no legal right.

competent authrotiy can permit withdrawal (i)within three months (ii) if circumstances hve changed (iii) if the reinstatement is in public interest.

But it is a concession not enforceabe right.
