Hi,

I wanted to know how much would it cost to get a Legal Hire certifcate/ Succession letter done for a Property purchased by my dad as he is no more
.... The term to pay off the loan has lapsed and the loan is not repaid

where are you located . court fees depend upon court fees act of each state . in mahrashtra court fees are maximum Rs 75000

It depend on Adv standing, Complication and details of property/ case.
No Fixed Fee. Always Negotiable. , as usual. ,

legal Heirship Certificate and Succession Certificate are two different documents. There is no fee for the former which is issued by talathi on the recommendation of Patwari/headman of village and second is issued by civil court which requires court fee as per value of the property.
