Dear sir,
We have some land in our village on our grand father name but we were not known , somebody is cultivating that later we occupied that and registered as gift deed to brother who is journalist for security purpose i.e no body will fight against him. My father and his brothers were signed on the deed. But we are brothers of journalist but we were not signed on deed and now he is saying that land in mine i will sell it to some body.
please advice us to how to fight against him and what are rights we have. My father is also against him.we registered gift deed
to family member and no payment received from him.

if gift deed has been executed yyour brother journalist is owner of said land and can dispose it off . the issue that ariises is whether it was ancestral or self acquired property of your grand father . if it was self acquired on your grandfather death his sons ie your father and uncle being the legal heirs have executed gift deed in favour of yiur journalist brother .

Once gift deed registered and possession handed over to the donee, entire rights in that property go in favour of that person and now it depends upon him how to deal with the things.
You have no legal right against him but resolve this matter within family.

The link documents are very necessary to be traced out otherwise bank shall not be allow you any loan facility and your ownership shall also remain doubtful.
