Agricultural land registration

Dear Sir, we have ancestral agricultural land in karnataka bidar dist in the name of basappa who was my grandfathers father to him at that period he earned 24 acres of land and he divided each 6 acres to my grand father and his three other brothers total 4 parts but it was not registered on there names orally he gave and these people cultivating their respective 6 acres with out any problem but now my fathers including their 3 brothers total 4 parts of 6 acres want to make regitration on there individual names as my grandfathers all 4 were died, Sir, my request is to please advice the procedure according to the karnataka land registration act how to approach and what is the procedure because it is still in the name of my grand grandfather do we require to approach collectively approach register office of total 24 acres 4 parts owners or we can individually divide this 6 acres among my father and 3 brothers please advice me the procedure according to karnataka, as iam staying since child hood in hyderabad i dont know the rules of karnataka . theland is situated in village not in city of bidar(there is a panchayat) thanks in advice

Heirs of all four deceased have to enter into regd.partition deed and submit to village officer to mutate names respectively according to partition deed.Get this partition deed prepared by advocate.
