How to proceed against a limimited firm in highcourt

(Querist) 07 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
Hi all,

I have a contract with an organization name is BCCL (Bharat coal chemicals limited). due to some reasons the BCCL cancelled my order without giving 1 month notice as mentioned in contract. i'm under impression that the work is getting done by some other contractor. at this stagae can i stop the other contractor to continue that work? can i invoke writ jurisdiction in highcourt against BCCL? or which court i shall proceed?
Please advise...

Your contract is of a civil nature and for it's wrong full breach law suit of damages in civil court would lie.No writ would lie in my view.
You can not seek injunction against new contractor.

You can definitely go to civil court and get stay order against their efforts to get the work done through another contractor and seek heav compensation thereto for the violation of the terms of the contract.
