Hello sir,
1)women cell no compromise wife going for case 498a Dowry. its been 8 days no FIR filed so is there any time period for FIR.
2)My marriage held in jabalpur M.P after that lived in gurgaon in rented house.so my question is that wife can file false Dowry case in M.P as my marriage held in M.P or she can also filed in Gurgaon.
3) In the women cell i clearly said take your all accassries as per list given as soon as possible she said i do not want my "Saman" like sofa,Tv i need cash for that.
so please suggest to me.

1. No, FIR can be registered at any point of time.
2.Either of the places.
3. Then agree for cash if the same is within your capacity. At least this will end the acrimony amicably.

Hello sir,
I respect your knowledge, but one of my relative daughter who are fighting divorce case in jabalpur M.P.she got married in bombay and she is belong to jabalpur,after 2year still she is not able to file dowry case from her relative place, lawyer suggest her you can not file dowry case from jabalpur you have to file from bombay where your marriage held .other case like DV & maintenance u can file from jabalpur
please suggest.

The opinion of the lawyer of your relative daughter id erroneous. She can definitely file divorce petition from Jabalpur.
