Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 19 April 2011 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir,

In case of one of the residential flat in mumbai, I need a copy of agreement entered into between builder and my father/brother. My father expired in 1992. My brother refuesd to provide the said copy. I am in need of the same for claiming my share in the said property. How and from where can I obtained a copy of the said agreement?

Thanks.

If you know the registration details you can obtain the copy from the Registrar office. If you do not know any details, issue notice to your brother, to produce the copy for your inspection.

You can get the copy from the builder , or if it is registered agreement between the builder and your father/Brother, you can get the same from the Registrar office. If you failed to get the same through above stated options, you can approach the court, mere legal notice may not impress them to provide you a copy.

IF IT IS REGISTERED, YOU CAN VERY WELL APPLY FOR THE CERTIFIED COPY FROM THE REGISTRAR
