I work in a state gov organisation.Can i make my niece (7 yrs old) or my sister(32yr old) as nominee .i am unmarried & living with my parent.

since you are un married you can make your sister or neice as nominee

Nomination can only be at your own choice. You can nominate any person of your liking and also change nomination at any time later when you feel the necessity for change.

You can make anybody as nominee but please keep in mind that nominees are are just the custodians of the Fund. They shall have to handover or distribute the fund, for which you have made them nominees, to your legal successors or to the per on/s in whose favour you will write WILL. Nominees are not the successors.
