Job after conviction and termination from bank

(Querist) 08 March 2014 This query is : Resolved
Hello Sir,
My husband was working in private bank,he got terminated from his services(after working there for 4 years)due to 420 case lodged by the bank itself and he got conviction for the same.he is still in the custody. And its almost 4 years of gap in his career profile since trial and case decision took long time,my query is that after getting the bail from the High Court whether he will be able to get new job in any other bank or any other organisation or not with such criminal record or we have to look for some business opportunity. Please suggest.

Chances of getting any bank job is almost ruled out.
Therefore, it would be pragmatic to think in terms of engaging in any viable business activity/venture.

Any Bank would give service is doubtful in such case. Other private concerns may be tried. Engaging in some business would be better option.

must forget about Bank job.

No bank will employ cheating convict even for sweeping floor or watering flower pots.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate Online (Expert) 08 March 2014
yes he can think of other business opportunity as being convict is no bar on earning rightful and lawful livelihood.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 08 March 2014
No body would employ any convict of cheating.
JOB OPPORTUNITY MAY BE ONLY WITH THOSE THOSE PRIVATE PROPRIETARY EMPLOYERS WHO DO NOT INQUIRE ANTECEDENTS.
Better try your own business.

No chance at least in the Government organisations or public sector enterprises. Their rules do not permit employment to any person with criminal record.
Pinki Dubey (Querist) 09 March 2014
If he try for job in any private organisation with the criminal record clearly disclosed to them,is there any possibilities of his selection on the basis of skills and knowledge ignoring the criminal record,i mean if he meets the organisation requirements for the particular work profile then what.
Guest (Expert) 09 March 2014
Why not ask him to try?
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate Online (Expert) 09 March 2014
I do tend to agree with Pinki Dubey

Mr. Sudhir,

What I understand from the post of Pinky Dubey, she has not answered the query, rather pur her own query to supplement the query of the quuerist, for example, "IS THERE any possibilities of his selection," and "i mean if he meets the organisation requirements for the particular work profile THEN WHAT." Of course, she missed putting a question mark at the end.

So, with your answer, "I do tend to agree with Pinki Dubey," are you agreeing with her question or assuming her post as an answer from her side?
