Is it necessary that Patta, Chitta and Adangal along with the registered documents to confirm the ownership of a property?

It would make the Buyer Legally More Safe and it would strongly establish the genuinity of the Seller.

We have lands and house properties in and around Chennai for which we have only registered documents and patta. we do not know about chitta and adangal. can I get it in a later stage? or is there any chance of manipulating the documents?
