what is tender of affidavit in cheque offence cases , what is the procedure of doing that?

u tender ur evidence in the form of affidavit.

a statement is recorded like "I tender into evidence my affidavit, Exhibit the contents of the affidavit may kindly be read as a part of my evidence"

then the statement is signed by the witness.

Section 145 of NI act. empowers the Complainant to give his/her evidence in the form of an affidavit. It is as same as the evidence affidavit filed under or18 rl 4 of CPC.
