how could remove union office from residential building

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 09 December 2010 This query is : Resolved
Honorable Expert,
i want to know the legal action which could be launched against a union office who is running his office in residencial building.
please, advise legal action and also administrative complains etc.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 09 December 2010
Only the landlord of such building can take any action for its eviction.
Parthasarathi Loganathan (Expert) 09 December 2010
Most of such instances the landlord himself is an office bearer of the Union. Unless there are strict Regulations imposed by the civic authorities to distinguish Residential and Non-Residential activity there is no solution upfront.
s.subramanian (Expert) 09 December 2010
You can complain if only it causes nuisance, either public or private. Otherwise you cannot object. If it is causing nuisance privately you can lodge a criminal complaint to the police. If it is a public nuisance, you can file a civil suit after taking leave of the court under Sec.92 of CPC.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 10 December 2010
Well advised by Mr.Subramanian.
