Entitlement of claim by Daughter

As per Hindu Succession Act 2005 can a daughter exercise her rights on the Self Acquired Property of Father.Or it is the sole right of the son.If the reply is affirmative,under which section of the said Act.Pl guide.

if a male died intestate then all heirs whether male or female have equal rights in the property of male

Yes.. If no any arrangements mean on self acquired property mean, male or female.. All legal heirs will get equal shares..

Is father alive or dead? If father is alive, no claim during his life time.
