Tampering Date of Birth while applying fresh Passport

Respected Sir, / Madam,

One of friend's wife applied for passport under tatkal scheme wherein she mentioned her DOB as 1954 instead of 1951 (the marks sheet of Secondary School Leaving Certificate shows 1951 she is telling how the change has happened, this has been noticed by the passport authority and asked her to bring the original marks sheet. They have applied for the Triplicate mark sheet, it is mentioned correct year of 1951 now what to do and how to help her to get her passport, because her daughter is on family way who stays in Dallas USA. Please help her.

IT IS NOT A CASE OF TAMPERING BUT TWO CONTRADICTORY DATE OF BIRTH RECORDED IN TWO DIFFERENT DOCUMENTS.
MAKE A NOTARIZED AFFIDAVIT STATING THAT DATE OF BIRTH RECORDED IN the marks sheet of Secondary School Leaving Certificate IS CORRECT AND ONE IN SCHOOL LEAVING CERTIFICATE IS IN CORRECT DUE TO CLERICAL ERROR,IF POSSIBLE,VISIT THE SCHOOL TO GET IT CLARIFIED
ON A LETTER HEAD OF PRINCIPAL.

It is only in the application stage. You can correct the DOB as per the certificate.
