Practice as Tax Consultant

(Querist) 24 June 2011 This query is : Resolved
I completed LLB in 2006 and enrolled with Bar. From june 2006 to spt.2009 I work as a junior with a senior advocate. Due to my personal problems from oct.2009 I leave the practice and join a job with CA office. Can I practice in taxation under the name of an Advocate and can I apply for JMFC examination. Please suggest.

Yes, you can practise as an advocate dealing taxation matters and also appear for JMFC examinations as per the eligibility criteria in your state.
