who is his father?

One of my friend is in confusion that who is his Father.
When my friend is in First Std his father died.
His mother get second marriage, and he lived with them, and his name is entered in the Ration Card of his second father.
But, in the school TC , original father name is there.
He got confused to make further Identification Card of him.
Please help him.....
1. IN SCHOOL TC - ORIGINAL FATHER.
2. IN RATION CARD- SECOND FATHER.

1. IN SCHOOL TC - ORIGINAL FATHER. IS HIS FATHER AND NONE ELSE SO FAR AS LAW IS CONCERNED.
BUT THIS ADMISSION WILL KEEP HIM DEPRIVED OF SUCCESSION TO PROPERTIES OF HIS SECOND FATHER,BUT HE WOULD BE ENTITLED TO SUCCEED TO PROPERTIES OF HIS ORIGINAL FATHER

your question is not clear.
does your friend want to assert who is his real father,from those certificates only?
any how between two documents cited above, school TC is more legally relevant document.

Unless the second husband of his mother legally adopts him as his son, your friend can be said to be the son of his original father, as entered in the school certificate, not the son of the 2nd husband of his mother.
