Whether your opponent will go in appeal or not is his choice. You have no means of stopping him from his legal right. As and when he prefers an appeal, you will definitely get a notice of the same and you have to defend yourself as you did in the lower court.

Is there any chance for my opponent to take it and drag me to higher courts ?
yes that may be as chance depends on the choice of your opponent as rightly pointed out to you by Mr.Ramachandran.
if so , what should i do to stop that ?
You can not stop him from filing appeal as you could not stop him from filing complaint .You shall come to know about his appeal by a notice from court just as you had one in lower court, getting which you need to contest and defend your points which made you winner in lower court as pointed out rightly by Mr. Ramachandran.
