Charge sheet is the summury of the investigation. In simple it contains the charges agaist the accused, the panel provisions, the list of the witnesses, list of the accused and the name of the complainent of the case.

1. Yes. He Can ask it at any stage of trial if sufceint reasons are present there to direct the police authorities to do so.
2. Obviously otherwise there is no no use of further investigation.
3. Trial magistrate shall consider only the evidence brought on file. Charge-sheet is merely a story of police which is to be provide by way of evidence.

I ll go with makkad sir. After taking of cognizance it is open to investigate further in a matter under 173(8) and 202 of Cr.P.C.
