Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 15 September 2011 This query is : Resolved
Dear Friends,
I am about file 91 application summoning call records, can anyone tell me
who is the competent authority we should refer to in our petition for providing call records from service provider.
What will be the designation of the authority? If for example it is BSNL bangalore who is the correct person that we should refer in our petition.

Case is in Karnataka Bangalore

Sorry Isaac,

PROs in BSNL merely deal with the public complaints about excess metering high bills, if any, and other few deficiencies, and PCO related matters. They don't have any authority to intervene in the functioning of other authorities.

Since Bangalore Telephone District is divided in to different areas under different General Managers, for summoning call records, the concerned General Manager in-charge of the concerned area will have to be addressed, who would direct the Divisional Engineer of the concerned Telephone Exchange under him to supply the call records.

Dear Sir,In the case of Voadfone and Airtel, whom should we appraoch for the same?
girish shringi (Expert) 16 September 2011
If you need call records i.e. log in an log out,you just have to make payment of the said service to service provider with request of the period for which you required it.

If you will not get the same you can contact Area Commercial Officer then G.M. and thereafter also if you are not getting the same can make R.T.I. in BSNL.

While for other service providers, you can approach their service Nos. and get the information.

In VF it is 111 in Airtel 121.

I hope your query is dealt with properly.

Still if have more query can see my profile and contact accordingly.
