in many post it is mention, it is not the role and objective of IO to help collect evidence from accuse then what does judicary achieve by putting husband and his family in jail and making them to come to pOLICE station every week.

Any statement made by them cannot be used against them and any statment /evidence made by them in their favor would not be consider by IO prosecuation.

Full and fair investigation, doesnot mean that they have to answer every query. But IO can ask and get certain clues.

If the quality of judicial appointments can be improved then only the misuse of Police powers can be curbed.
