Is revenue stamp compulsory for any type of deed.

how can we understand that how much rupees of revenue stamp is require to affixed on legal document such as sale deed,power of attorney,and rent agreement,there is any side to know the list.........pls advice

You are required to look into the provisions of stamp Act of the State where the deed has to be executed as they all provide exhaustive
list of documents and duty payable thereon.

Most of the documents mentioned need registration and hence without proper stamps no registration possible , so this will be solved at that stage only.
