We have basement in which one of our tenant wants to start an office and he wants to take commerical electrical connection for only that basement. whereas in the first and second floor it is residential. So can we agree to his deal or should we deny if we have any complication in the above matter, please advice.

There is no harm in doing so but it shall be better for you to first establish whether you can allow your tenant to start commercial activities in the residential area and whether it can provide a problem for you in future or not.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 08 December 2011
Electricity connection can be converted to residential to commercial vice verse to the need of the landlord or tenant.
