Change of caste

dear learned counsel!
Can any one ask for change of his or her caste which wont have a marital relation or heredity,when anybody can change religion and name?

That is exactly what i wanted to ask you but fortunately you have win the race.
Now i am duty bound to answer you.The day it would be possible the whole india would be SC /ST and i wish politicians should legislate for it if they have no political courage to say good by to reservations as it shall create at least non discriminatory society and reservation shall see good by on its own.

In my view you have a valid question. If we can change our religion, why can not we change our CAST?????????ALLOWING IT WOULD BE IN GOOD HEALTH OF THE COUNTRY'S SOCIAL ENGINEERING AND IN THE ULTIMATE RESULT WE SHALL BE ONLY INDIAN AND NOT FORWARDS ,BACKWARDS, SCHEDULED OR TRIBES.
I FEEL YOUR QUERY AS BEST ONE OF THE DAY.

The law does not support change in caste. It is illegal.
