I want to construct a small resort on a green zone(agricultural land)maharashtra.
i dont have a agriculturist certificate.
Can i purchase this land on my name and do the construction?
Please note i dont have anyone trustworthy who holds agricultaral certificate.
Please guide me with the procedure and expense to do the same.

You can construct the farmhouse to the extent of 10% of total agricultural land.you can buy agricultural if you or your father is having agricultural land anywhere in India.

As far as i am concerned it is known to me that only agricluturist can purchase the land in Maharastra. If you or your father have agriclutural land in anywhere in India then you can do it.

no you cannot do so you are not griculturist . purchase a NA land for resort

Since you are not a farmer, you cannot purchase the said land.
First of all the owner of the land should convert it into non-agricultural land and get the permission of the district collector to sell the land. Then only you can purchase the land.
construction of resort on the land is out of question unless it is converted to non-agricultural.
