(Querist) 08 March 2012 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sirs,
I am the only son of my late parents. My father owned agriculture land in Himachal Pradesh. He approximately had 1/3 of total land holding from his father and remainder 2/3 by way of tenanacy and through will from some lady . He died intestate in the year 1980.On his death, the land in his name was inherited equally by me and my mother and same muted in revenue records. My mother also expired intestate in the year 1984 and entire land in her name was muted in my name.I was born in 1945 and all my three children were born in 1970s. My querry is wether the agriculture land held by me is ancesteral qua my children or not.
Hoping for an early response
Thanking you all

It will be ancestral property. All ur children- sons and daughters will have right by birth in it in equal proportion.
