I am a senior citizen and rent is my only income. My tenant was not giving rent from August 2010. He told me that he will be leaving but did not left. I then filed a eviction case against him in May2011. He then also filed a criminal case against me. He left the flat with all his belongings leaving the flat under lock and key. The eviction case is still running. What is the future of this case? Can you help me out in any way. If I win the eviction case will it be helpful in the criminal case that was filed by my tenant against me? Please give me advice.

what criminal case has been filed by your tenant against you . if you win eviction case it it will help you in getting posession of flat . judiical process takes time

you are a senior citizen,your case will be taken on priority basis.Result of eviction suit will affect cr. case.

Don't worry,if you get the decree of eviction ,you will get possession as well as due rent of property.
