This query is : Resolved
Is it necessary that a Purshis needs to be signed by the advocate for the party and only his signature is considered important in matters related to Purshis in the legal sense.
Or can it be signed by the party himself and have the same value and effect in all the courts (including Supreme Court) ?
Can a witness submit a Purshis herself if she wishes to keep on record the behavior of the lawyer of the opp party or other side?

There can not be two drivers on a vehicle or two cooks in a kitchen.
If you have an advocate let him take the steps including FILING PURSHIS.

But what if the advocate denies to sign it

Who will identify you?? Only your Advocate.
Change Advocate, or file PURSIS, AND GET SIGNATURE OF ANY ADVOCATE TO IDENTIFY YOU, OR SHOW Phot ID. to Judge with certified True copy of it attached to it.

Dear Sonia,
To the Best of My knowledge, the word Purshis itself means Enquiry or Information.
In legal terms, Pursis is a written document filed in the court to provide some information to the court, based on which the court can take any informed decisions.
unfortunately, not many lawyers know or are aware of Pursihs, as per my experience with them. Even if they know, very few actually use it, or even inform their clients about .

ANYBODY GO TO COURT, IMPERSONALISE AS xyz. , GIVE PURSIS, AND COURT ACT UPON?? SO IDENTIFICATION IS MUST, IN ABSENCE OF YOUR advocate

So even that is possible..!!
Thanks Mr Shroff..
And can a person who is party to the suit give a Purshis in his own capacity if his advocate refuses to give it?
