in the FIR, seems police have mentioned only 498A and not mentioned 406, 506. one police guy informed me by seein the copy. But poice didnt call me to sign it yet. wen i go thr, can i ask them to include? once the fir s filed wil they include?

if not file before the court, or give copy of the FIR, he may changed after sometime before hand over.

Police cannot be compelled by complainant to insert a particular section. You may make argument at the time of framing the charge if the material on file discloses the commission of the offence and second chance shall be available when you record your evidence and then application under section 216 criminal procedure code can be moved.

Don't worry, at the time of framing of charge or pending trial, court will carefully examin the FIR AND the statements recorded by police and if he finds materials under Section 406, 506 IPC COURT will frame charge.
